Just wanted to share my first venture into at-home juicing. I juiced every fruit and vegetable I had on hand (except for the lemons and limes). Well, that meant:

  • 1 Fuji apple
  • 1/4th head of cabbage
  • 2-3 good-sized handfuls of spinach
  • 1 banana
And here it is:


Guesses on how it tasted?

Surprisingly, it was very good! It would have been better colder (reminder to keep the apples chilled!), but it was great! You can't really taste the cabbage and spinach, it does more color-wise than anything - well, that and the nutritional content, of course! I guess maybe it mutes the sweetness of the apple and banana as well. 

Overall: A-


  1. I've been thinking of buying a juicer lately....would love it if you shared more recipes that you liked!!!

  2. Never would have thought to add cabbage! I wonder how much more nutritious it made the juice?
